A new sport is turning heads in Switzerland — and it's happening on a 12-meter Quad™ by the lake in Lausanne.
From June 12 to 22, 2025, World Chase Tag® is officially making its debut at the 77th Fête Fédérale de Gymnastique — the largest sporting event in Switzerland, held only once every six years.

A Landmark Moment for Chase Tag® and Swiss Gymnastics

The 2025 edition of the Fête Fédérale de Gymnastique brings together thousands of athletes, fans, and families to celebrate all aspects of gymnastics and movement sports — from artistic gymnastics to acrobatics, parkour, and now, Chase Tag®.

A full-size 12x12m Quad™ was installed in a prime location — right in front of the port and overlooking Lake Geneva. Over the course of 10 days, more than 500 participants, including kids, teens, adults, and athletes, have stepped onto the Quad to discover the sport and try Chase Tag® for themselves.

WCT Leadership On Site

To mark this important moment, several key figures from the World Chase Tag® organization were present in Lausanne:

  • Christian Devaux, CEO and Founder of World Chase Tag®,
  • Loïc Ascarino, Director of Global Licensing, and
  • Thomas Rodrigues, Lead Developer and Broadcast Producer.

Their presence helped ensure that the introduction of the sport met World Chase Tag® standards, while supporting local organisers and engaging with athletes and potential partners interested in the development of Chase Tag® in Switzerland and across Europe.

What Is World Chase Tag®?

World Chase Tag® is a unique and fast-paced sport that blends athleticism, strategy, and precision inside a 12x12m steel and wood arena known as the Quad™. Two players enter: one chases, one evades. The Chaser has 20 seconds to make the tag — or the Evader escapes.

It’s fast, explosive, strategic, and endlessly entertaining — a perfect blend of agility, tactics, and pure fun.

Bringing Chase Tag® to Switzerland

With the enthusiastic support of the Swiss Gymnastics Federation (FSG), World Chase Tag® Switzerland is using this major festival to introduce the sport to a new audience — one that already values movement, precision, and athletic excellence.

For many gymnasts and parkour athletes in Switzerland, Chase Tag offers a new avenue for competition, expression, and growth. It's a natural evolution — adding tactical chases, gameplay, and crowd excitement to an already strong base of movement skills.

A Platform for the Future

This debut in Switzerland marks an important step for World Chase Tag® in its global expansion. We’re actively seeking partners, gym owners, and coaches who are ready to bring Chase Tag® to new cities across Switzerland and beyond. Whether you're in Zurich, Geneva, Bern, or Lugano, we're building a movement — and looking for people who want to lead it.
