Every member who competes carries their own WCT™ athlete license ($25/year). For a Performance Center that is not just a rule to manage, it is how you fill your roster, lock in your competitive members, and pay down your own license fee.
Every competing member: anyone in ranked 1v1, Chase-Off™ or official tournaments. Build it into your competitive membership.
Affiliate a member's license to your center and $25/year comes off your fee. A full competitive roster can wipe it out entirely.
Ranked sessions and Chase-Offs™ can only run on your official 8m or 12m Quad™, the reason licensed athletes come to train with you.
Licenses run for the calendar year with no pro-rating. Prompt members to renew each January so they stay eligible and your offset holds.
Because ranked sessions and Chase-Offs™ can only run on a Performance Center's official Quad™ (8m or 12m), every competitive athlete in your area needs a certified center to be ranked. Training Centers handle classes and unranked play; the ranked ladder lives on your floor.

A WCT™ Training Center starts at ~€570 total (license + certification). A Performance Center adds Level 2 certification (€1,150 for all levels) plus your Quad™: purchase or licensed self-build, priced per territory and quoted during your application. The annual fee shrinks by $25 per affiliated athlete license, down to $0/year with 48+ licensed members.
It depends on whether you operate with a Quad™. Any organisation with an official Quad™ must become a WCT™ Performance Center (Level 2 coach certification). Organisations without one (parks, youth clubs, gyms) become a WCT™ Training Center (Level 1).
Every competing athlete holds a WCT™ athlete license ($25/year). When a licensed athlete affiliates to your Performance Center, $25/year comes off your annual fee, effectively $0/year with 48+ affiliated members. The offset cannot go below zero. Licenses run per calendar year, no pro-rating, renewing each January.
No, it's a licensing model. You own and run your own independent business; we provide the brand, training and support. No revenue royalties. Licensees follow brand guidelines and the license renews annually unless there is a breach of contract.
Yes, we encourage it. Ranked sessions and ranked Chase-Offs™ are exclusive to Performance Centers on an official 8m or 12m Quad™. Avoid naming events "World Chase Tag®" with a country or 1M+ area name, and don't use official event names (e.g. WCT7). "Flight Club" events need prior approval.
Training Center: Foundation + Level 1 (€450 total). Performance Center: Foundation + Level 1 + Level 2 (€1,150 total). Courses run year-round at wct-certifications.com. Only WCT LLC and partners certify coaches; Level 2 is mandatory to coach on the official Quad™.
Yes. The Quad™ can be purchased from WCT or self-built under license to official specifications (8m or 12m). Pricing and build options vary per territory and are quoted during your application.
Yes, we don't limit licensees per area, but being first in your market is a major advantage in building the local Chase Tag® community.
Yes. You're licensing the World Chase Tag® name; whether you make a profit or not, a license is required to use it.
Follow brand guidelines, keep coach certifications current, respect contractual obligations (incl. NDAs), and work in the spirit of growing the sport. We promote a positive environment and don't tolerate harassment or behaviour that harms the community. Licenses renew annually; non-compliance may mean non-renewal.
