World Chase Tag® turns the oldest game into a competitive sport. Founded in the UK in 2012, it now runs a ranked global circuit of licensed venues, national and continental championships, and the World Championships, broadcast in 37+ countries.
One chaser, one evader, 20 seconds on the Quad™: a 12m × 12m arena packed with obstacles. The chaser has one job, to tag.
Survive the full 20 seconds without being tagged and your team scores an evasion. Whoever wins the chase stays on for the next one.
Most evasions across 16 chases wins the match. Simple to follow, brutal to play. Don't Get Caught™.
Two teams, one Quad™. Each chase lasts 20 seconds: one athlete chases, one evades. An evasion scores a point, and a match is 16 chases. The full format, scoring and code of conduct are in the official rulebook.
At any of the 46+ licensed venues across 18 countries, searchable in the Quad™ finder. Classes and open training need no license. To enter ranked sessions and Chase-Offs™ you need a WCT™ athlete license, $25 per season.
Full matches and highlights are free on worldchasetag.com/watch and on YouTube. Championships are also broadcast by partners in 37+ countries, including ESPN, NBC Sports, Channel 4 and L'Équipe.
