World Chase Tag® (WCT) continues its rapid growth in France with the delivery of a brand-new Quad™ in La Roche-sur-Yon, marking the 14th Quad™ in France and the 35th worldwide. The installation was finalised on August 23rd, 2025, and quickly followed by a Level 2 Certification program from August 25th to 27th, welcoming coaches from across the country.

A Citizen-Funded Project Brought to Life

This project is unique in that the City of La Roche-sur-Yon purchased the Quad™ after a collaborative budget proposal initiated by a local association. The proposal was put to a public vote and chosen by citizens, reflecting the community’s strong interest in bringing World Chase Tag® to the Vendée region.

Level 2 Certification

The Level 2 Certification was attended by:

All three cities have recently received their own Quads within the last two months, confirming the momentum of WCT’s expansion across the country.

The certification was led by Yoann Ferreira, a household name in the sport:

  • Double French Champion
  • Vice-World Champion 2022
  • Key player of Parkour59, one of the world’s top professional teams
  • Head coach of Parkour59 Gym, the first facility in France equipped with a 12m Quad™

Yoann is currently training to become France’s Certification Manager, meaning he will soon oversee and deliver all future WCT certifications in the country.

Accelerated Growth of World Chase Tag® in 2025

This installation highlights WCT’s accelerating growth, with an average of one new Quad™ or gym opening every month in 2025. By the end of this year alone, four more Quads™ are already scheduled for delivery.
