A Long-Time Dream Becomes Reality

After years of steady growth and ambition, Arverne Parkour, based in Issoire, has secured its own indoor venue and become the proud recipient of the 15th World Chase Tag® Quad™ in France. Their new 8×8 metre Arena brings full Chase Tag functionality to a region that until now lacked such infrastructure.

Driven by issues such as fickle Auvergne weather and limited access to shared sports facilities, Arverne Parkour launched a bold project to build the first dedicated Parkour and Chase Tag® venue in Auvergne, and the second in Auvergne‑Rhône‑Alpes after KIMEO in Lyon. The future space will share a new omnisport gym in the “Les Prés” neighbourhood of Issoire, allocating 300 m² to Arverne Parkour alongside other disciplines (gymnastics, strength training, tennis...).

Their well run crowdfunding campaign sealed the deal: funds were raised to secure the venue, build custom modules, and ensure high quality training in all weathers. The club’s goal remains to make movement sport accessible to everyone.

A Venue Divided into Three Zones

The new space is designed around three main areas. An official Chase Tag Quad™ will bring structured training and game play to local practitioners. There will also be a zone for height and acrobatics, with walls similar to those seen on Ninja Warrior. Finally a fully modular Parkour zone with varied obstacles will enable fluid progression in the art of movement.

Set to open by the end of the year, the new facility will not only serve Arverne Parkour’s growing membership but will also enable them to build a regional Chase Tag® team. They may even partner with nearby powerhouse KIMEO in Lyon, the first licensed World Chase Tag® gym globally and current vice world champions (open division) as well as French champions (women’s division). This collaboration could elevate the sport across the region and build competitive momentum.

A New Chapter Begins in Issoire

The arrival of the latest Quad™ is more than a delivery, it is proof that community vision, resilient effort, and generosity can build spaces where sport, creativity, and inclusion meet. Arverne Parkour’s new venue promises to keep students training and aspiring under one roof, regardless of weather or scheduling constraints.

With a physical home and a standardised Chase Tag Quad™ now within reach, the club is poised to launch a new wave of athletes, events, and partnerships. The chase has reached Auvergne.
