Every season of World Chase Tag®, we honor the standout athletes who rise above the already incredible competition to leave a lasting mark on the Nationals stage. These MVPs known as Barons of Bolt (BOBs) are the athletes who combined stats, impact, and sheer determination to lead their teams and thrill the fans.
For WCT7, we are proud to announce the new BOBs from France and USA (Open & Women’s Divisions).
Women’s Division – WCT7 USA
The Women’s Division continues to grow in intensity and depth, with every athlete showing progress and consistency at the highest level. This year, two athletes stood out above the rest.
Eva Yamani, former French Champion with KIMEO Volt, BOB of WCT6 France, and now a member of Anarchy USA put on a stellar performance with 3/3 tags and 4/8 evasions. Often sent into the early rounds, she carried her team through pressure situations and came close to securing her second BOB title, while also helping Anarchy capture the USA Championship.
But it was Amy Baldwin who edged her teammate for the MVP award. After transferring mid-season from Kunoichi (her WCT6 Championship team) to Anarchy, Amy continued her winning streak, becoming a back-to-back US Champion with two different teams. Her 3/3 tags and 4/7 evasions, plus her decisive performance in the final, secured her first MVP crown as Baroness of Bolt for WCT7 USA Women’s Division.
We can’t wait to see Amy and Eva play together again against the reigning Women’s World Champions, Nano, on the global stage.

Open Division – WCT7 France
The French Nationals were nothing short of a battlefield. With every match played back-to-back in a single day, endurance and composure were as important as speed and strategy. Shockingly, giants like KIMEO (vice-World Champions) and Mamba (former World Champions) failed to qualify for Worlds, opening the door for new talent to shine.
The MVP race came down to two athletes:
- Hugo Bochynski: Veteran of Parkour59, WCT5 Worlds vice-champion, WCT6 France Champion & BOB, and now two-time French Champion. Hugo once again proved his consistency with 100% tag rate (7/7) and an impressive 45% evasion rate.
- Esteban Noguera: Captain of Fakaw, one of the youngest teams in the sport. Esteban played 26 chases (compared to Hugo’s 18), kept a perfect 100% tag rate (11/11), and added 4 evasions (26.67%). His relentless drive pulled Fakaw to the final.
Ultimately, while Hugo’s class and experience are unquestionable, Esteban’s impact was the difference-maker. Fakaw simply would not have reached the final without him. For this reason, Esteban Noguera is crowned Baron of Bolt for WCT7 France.
(Honorable mention: Roger from Fakaw, who achieved a stunning 63.64% evasion rate, the highest of the tournament.)

Open Division – WCT7 USA
After three years of APEX dominance, the Open Division crowned a new champion: NYX. With it came an intense debate over who would claim the BOB title, as three athletes stood out:
- Marquis Bennett (215): The emotional centerpiece of his team, logging 30 total chases, with unmatched intensity.
- Nick Amblo (NYX): Flawless as a chaser with a 100% tag rate (9/9) and decisive as an evader with 40% success (4/10), including 2 evasions in the final.
- Matthew Hall (NYX): The captain, with a 90% tag rate (9/10) and 40% evasion success (6/15), though he conceded a critical evasion in the group stage.
While Nick and Matthew posted excellent stats, what set Marquis apart was his sheer volume of play, the risks he took, and the authority he displayed on the Quad™. He embodied leadership, grit, and power throughout the tournament.
For these reasons, Marquis Bennett is crowned Baron of Bolt for WCT7 USA Open Division.
