The sport of Chase Tag® on its biggest stage

The WCT7 World Championships bring together the best teams on the planet for two days of world level competition on the official Quad™. Across the Women division and the Open division teams will fight through group phases and finals to decide two world titles in Évry-Courcouronnes.

Expect explosive chases, smart evasions and athletes at the top of their game under full arena lights. The format is clean and simple for sport and for broadcast so every second matters from the first group game to the last final.

Competition format

Two divisions • One Quad™ • Two World Titles

The format is built for clear sport and for intense games. Group phases decide who survives to the knock out rounds and every chase matters for ranking and momentum.

Women division

Six teams battle for the world title in a compact and competitive format with no easy games.

  • Two groups with three teams in each group.
  • Round robin inside each group.
  • The best two teams from every group reach the semi finals.
  • Winners of the semi finals play the Women world championship final.

Open division

Twelve teams enter and only four teams reach the semi finals. The field includes current champions local champions and international squads.

  • Two groups with six teams in each group.
  • Only the best two teams from each group reach the knock out stage.
  • First in group A faces second in group B and first in group B faces second in group A.
  • Winners reach the final and losers play for third place.
